Conservation Commission Opening (click here)
The Conservation Commission has an opening for one new member:
The Hartland Conservation Commission is charged with helping to protect and preserve Hartland's natural and community resources. The Commission develops management plans for public lands, encourages recreational use of natural areas, educates the public on best practices around wetlands and wildlife, and assists landowners who are seeking to protect their property with conservation easements. The Commission meets monthly (second Wednesday of the month, 7pm, Damon Hall) and meetings are open to the public. Appointments are made by the Selectboard. Conservation Commission members must be residents of Hartland. You do not need any special training or background to serve on the Commission, just interest and enthusiasm.
If you have an interest in participating on the 9-member volunteer Commission, please fill out and return an Application for Appointment to Town Committees or Commissions. Click here for an application or stop in and pick one up at the Town Offices.
If you have any questions, please contact Rob Anderegg, Conservation Commission Chair by email at rob.anderegg@outlook.com.
