Hartland Cooperative Nursery School
Hartland Cooperative Nursery School has been providing nurturing, developmentally focused early childhood education for almost 40 years! The program fosters a love of learning, and children are encouraged to explore and discover the world around them. We also offer a tight-knit community for parents and their children.
HCNS provides a curriculum rich with social emotional skill building, communication, cooperation, and play. We foster curiosity, independence, and self esteem in each student. We offer half day classes for children ages 3 and older. Aside from our strong team of teachers and our curriculum we also offer enrichment through nature based play, Vermont Institute of Natural Science monthly lessons, local library visits, and parent/community engagement.
HCNS believes that there is no “one size fits all” when it comes to learning. We believe in individualized, developmentally appropriate, relationship based learning which happens through play and real life experiences. More than just kindergarten preparation, we care about the whole child and the magic of childhood!
